For a long time, for years, The Walking Dead has been delivering engaging episodes that seem to always get to that point where you know in the back of your head, things are about to get crazy. That is exactly how tonight’s episode Say Yes, has begun.
As the team is gearing up for a big fight, the opening is a silent clash and fight that is extremely intense delivered by our favorites, Rick and Michonne, before falling through a roof. This episode is a perfect example of the highs and lows that The Walking Dead continues to deliver in a subtle, bittersweet tone.
This episode is a bone crushing, limb tearing, and blood gushing episode that seems to be a tone that is carrying on in this season such as previous episodes, where hundreds of walkers were slaughtered. After all, “that’s living”, according to Rick. Just when you think a safe-haven has been found, something else happens that brings hope to an end. In anxious moment, Rick is outnumbered by a horde and just when all hope is lost, he comes to the light and him and Michonne do what they do best, slice and dice.
In current episodes, Rosita has grown to become a very tense character that is making a name for herself. We all know that she is dead set on killing Negan and in this episode, she takes an extra step forward in recruiting Sasha on her team for the attack. But as for now, no one has died yet so we are in the clear.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC at 9:00PM Eastern
