First look at Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision(??) in “AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR”

While Thanos is working day and night to retrieve the most powerful trinkets in the known universe and after romantic tension has been teased between the two comic book lovebirds, it looks like Wanda Maxmimoff are finally acting on their visually palpable chemistry.

As first reported by E! News, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany were recently spotted on the set of “Avengers: Infinity War” (currently filming on location in Edinburgh, Scotland) getting a little cozy.

While fans have been predicting the two Avengers would hook up ever since Wanda first discovered she could read the mind of Vision during the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and their relationship developed into a close and personal friendship during “Captain America: Civil War,” this is the first confirmation of the two finally acting on their feelings.

The most surprising thing about these photos, however, is that Paul Bettany is covered head to toe with makeup and prosthetic parts.

Vision is human…???

While Bettany has been a mainstay of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its inception with “Iron Man” in 2008, he has only appeared as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. and as the psychical embodiment of The Vision. Could Thanos be using the Reality Stone to play mind games with one (or two) of the most powerful assets on the Avengers lineup? Could this be Wanda giving Vision a glimpse into their would-be future if he wasn’t an android?

Who knows but all answers will be answered on May 4, 2018 when Marvel’s drops its most anticipated release to date, “Avengers: Infinity War”
