One of the stand out characters from ‘the last two X-Men films is set to return to the franchise in ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’. Evan Peters will be joining an all-star cast featuring other actors from Apocalypse.
The character, that first appeared in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, will be making his return in the Jean Grey-centered ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’. Peters will be joining Nicholas Hoult(Beast), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp(Storm), Tye Sheridan(Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee, Michael Fassbender (Magneto), James McAvoy (Professor x), and Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) in the sequel. Simon Kinberg will be making his directorial debut with the seventh film in the main franchise.
Most audiences loved Quicksilver’s introduction in Days of Future Past (specifically the slow-mo prison breakout). I will be looking forward to his appearance in the film but I hope the focus is on the younger team. Specifically on Jean Grey, in order to do the Dark Phoenix storyline justice.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters November 2, 2018.
