Teagan Croft Cast As RAVEN in Live-Action TITANS Series

The upcoming Titans series has found is first cast member: a newcomer who will be taking on the role of Raven.

You likely haven’t hear of Teagan Croft, as Titans will be the U.S. debut for the 13-year old actress. Raven is described as “the daughter of a demon, a powerful empath who must keep her emotions in check or risk unleashing her demonic side”. In previous incarnations, she’s the daughter of the demon lord Trigon, which is where she gets her magical powers from.

Raven is the first team member to be cast, but the show is confirmed to also feature Nightwing and Starfire

The series is being produced by Greg Berlanti of the CW DC shows, Akiva Goldsman of Star Trek: Discovery, DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schechter. Johns, who is also a writer on the show along with Berlanti and Goldsman, recently revealed production on the show had started. Aiming for a 2018 release, Titans will be exclusive to DC’s new streaming service, which will also debut with the third season of Young Justice.

Croft, as a relative unknown, isn’t a name that many people would get excited over, but she’ll prove herself along with the rest of the yet-to-be-announced cast of Titans in 2018.

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven, and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
