Fans will not have to wait much longer to see Adam West’s final outing as the Caped Crusader, as Batman vs. Two-Face is set to be released on October 17, 2017, according to a listing from Best Buy. The sequel to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders will also be West’s final film role, as the actor passed away in June, but managed to finish recording his lines for the animated feature prior to his death.

In addition to West reprising his role, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar both return to star as Dick Grayson/Robin and Selina Kyle/Catwoman, respectively, with William Shatner voicing the titular villain. The animated film is rumored to be based on an unproduced story from the original series that was cut for being too dark for the time period.
