Actor Samuel L. Jackson is not happy that he has not be asked by Marvel to appear in ‘Avengers 3’, ‘Avengers 4’ or ‘Black Panther’.
According to an interview with Yahoo!, Jackson said:
“I wasn’t in the ‘superhero argument’ movie [‘Captain America: Civil War’], I’m not in ‘Avengers 3 and 4’. They’re shooting them now, and they haven’t called me yet.”
‘Black Panther’ is focused on the country of Wakanda and what goes around there. It would make sense that Nick Fury makes an appearance, since he has to already know about the Wakandan king, T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman.
Jackson is furious that Marvel did not make the decision to allow him to appear in ‘Black Panther’ and told Yahoo!:
“They wouldn’t let me go to ‘Black Panther’-ville, so it’s kinda like how you gonna make a black Marvel movie and not let Nick Fury show up in it?!”
It is important to point out that Yahoo!’s interview with Jackson was done before the announcement of Nick Fury’s return to the MCU in 2019’s ‘Captain Marvel’, confirmed by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige.
