A synopsis has been released for M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, the highly anticipated sequel to Unbreakable and Split. It teases a battle between Bruce Willis and James McAvoy’s characters.
Before the film Split came out, it was assumed it would just be your run-of-the-mill horror thriller. It turned out to be a sequel to director M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable, and it was well received by critics and general audiences. James McAvoy shined as the villain of the film; who has superhuman abilities. Bruce Willis played Dunn in the first movie, and now they are set go up against each other in Glass; which will also see the return of Samuel L. Jackson’s character “Mr. Glass”.
- Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
Are you excited for the upcoming film? I certainly am. I really enjoyed most of Split, even though I hadn’t watched Unbreakable yet. Let’s see if Shyamalan can hit another home run with the Glass, only time will tell…
Glass hits theaters January 18, 2019
