A lot of the things in The Force Awakens were basically just bigger versions of things in the original trilogy – bigger ships, bigger space station, bigger galactic threat, bigger villain – the list goes on, and it looks like they’re going to stick with that trend. The Star Wars Show unveiled two new First Order vehicles in The Last Jedi, and they’re essentially just bigger versions of Empire vehicles.
The first one is a new Walker called the AT-M6 (All Terrain Megacaliber Six). This thing actually looks really cool, and it’s gorilla-like in nature. They are said to be much bigger than the Empire’s AT-ATs, and they also have much more powerful firearms.
The other vehicle revealed was the First Order Dreadnought. This, again, resembles the Empire’s ships, but this is much larger. It is said that it might be the biggest ships in a Star Wars movie. Snoke might also use this ship and its size as an intimidation to show the size and strength of The First Order, and this may be where he resides for most of the movie.
Hopefully these vehicles will make The First Order an even larger force than they already are, which will be detrimental to the Resistance.
