It was recently announced that DC will be relaunching their Vertigo line in August 2018 to coincide with the imprint’s 25th anniversary.
During DC’s Meet the Publishers panel at NYCC Jim Lee announced the relaunch will involve well-known creators both writing and curating titles. Besides this information not much else was announced.
Launching in 1993 by editor Karen Berger, with Swamp Thing, The Sandman, Hellblazer, Animal Man and Doom Patrol, the imprint has become home to such titles as Preacher, Transmetropolitan, 100 Bullets, Lucifer, Y: The Last Man, Scalped and Fables.
Mark Doyle who was promoted in May to executive editor of the imprint will oversee the relaunch. – Jacob Campbell
