One of the most intriguing series to hit comic book shelves in recent weeks, Batman: White Knight, has once again given fans a moment they never though they’d see.

The Joker down on one knee.

Ever since The Joker got back within his right mind and taken up the alias Jack Napier, an homage to Jack Nicholson’s iteration of the character in “Batman,” he has been, well… even more unpredictable than his psychopathic counterpart. After weeks of uncertainty Jack finally goes home in this week’s Batman: White Night #2 and, at first, Harley is elated to see him.

However, she is not a fan of his new look and attitude. Check the pages form a preview of this week.

“For the way I’ve treated you over the years. You were kind, supportive, and you tolerated a lot of crazy mood swings.” When she says she loved those, Jack continues. “Can’t you see how unhealthy I was? I knew you loved me and I took advantage, I never said it back, because it gave me power over you. But that’s over. I’m through with Batman. I want to give you the version of me you always wanted.”

Things do NOT go as planned. After totally denying him and laughing at him, She attacked him and tries to keep him from taking the medication that keeps him sane.
