Thor: Ragnorok has easily surpassed the $100 million dollar mark, due to it’s international release. The movie is also in Theaters now. As we have mentioned before, there seems to be a lot of connections between this film and Guardians of the Galaxy. There seems to be one connection though, that currently has everyone’s attention: The Grandmaster.

The Grandmaster is the brother of The Collector (played by Benicio Del Toro). If you remember, The Collector appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy and hasn’t been seen sense. Well, it seems as though we may see them in a film together soon. If Kevin Feige has his way, the two brothers may just collect and enslave the Galaxy. Speaking with Fandango, Feige said this:

“It would be awesome man. It would be great,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Fandango when we asked him whether the two fan favorites would ever share the screen together. “We love the idea that they’re brothers. If you go on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout attraction at California Adventure in Anaheim, you will see a picture on Collector’s wall of he and the Grandmaster playing some sort of a space chess game, which right now is the only place you can see the two of them in a frame together, but let’s hope that changes someday.”

The picture that he is speaking of can be seen here:

Is Feige trying to tell us a secret? Could this be a scene from either of the upcoming Avenger films or Guardians of the Galaxy 3? Time will tell!

That would be simply amazing, Mr. Feige. Thor: Ragnorok has been getting high praise, and is the best film of the trilogy so far (according to critics). Both The Collector and The Grandmaster have appeared at some point in Thor films. Hopefully, Feige has his way and we see them share the screen soon. James Gunn has talked about the importance of the cosmos to the MCU. This sort of team up would definitely add to that importance. What do you guys think? We want to hear from you. Comment, share, like, let us know!
