The famous writer Brian Michael Bendis, who made his a large impact in the comic book industry with Marvel, has now decided to join DC Comics.

The official DC Comics Twitter account first announced the news, describing an exclusive deal with them; a “multiyear, multi-faceted deal”.

This likely means that he will stop writing for Marvel very soon to work exclusively for DC, meaning he will be leaving his Invincible Iron Man run at some point. More details on that front hasn’t been revealed yet, but I’m sure we will learn more soon.

A little bit after that tweet, the writer himself teased what the news means for his future in the company.

This is pretty big news as he has been working with Marvel for almost two decades. Some of his most popular work is Ultimate Spider-Man, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and more. This may mean what he’s working on next with DC will probably be big and important to him.

What do you guys think? Be sure to tweet at SuperBroMovies with your thoughts. – Marcos Melendez
