Recently a rumor spread that Matt Reeves had met with Jake Gyllenhaal to discuss the actor becoming Batman. And it seems now Collider has confirmed it with their own sources.
According to Collider Reeves has met with Gyllenhaal and additional actors, although their names have not yet been released. And since Warner Bros. has not yet released a list of possible actors to replace Affleck, we are left to simply speculate who could become the next Caped Crusader. For now though any discussion of such a move is in the very early stages.
If we do hear any news of Affleck’s departure odds point to it being after Justice League finishes its box office run.
