Best Black Friday Deals For Gamers!

With Black Friday coming soon some gamers are probably trying to figure out where they need to go to get either a new console or games for cheap. Well to help with that we at Arcade Corner decided to help make a guide with what the best deals are for you to spend your money on.

Now to start this off lets breakdown the 3 major consoles and where is the best place to buy one. To start off the Nintendo Switch will still be regular priced at pretty much all locations and won’t be discounted due to Nintendo wanting to focus on supply rather than discount. The only deal console wise Nintendo will be offering is a new 2DS which comes with the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and the 2DS comes in Link Green.

Next up will be the PS4 and depending on what model you want there are a different number of places to go to. If you want just the PS4 than you should head to GameStop or Amazon and get a PS4 Slim for only $199. that comes with a 1TB hard drive, though do note that if you go to GameStop for this deal you will get a $50 dollar gift card. Now if you want to go for the newer model of the PS4 which is the PS4 Pro GameStop will have it for only $349.99 which is $50 dollars off the original price. If you have some cash to spar I would recommend getting the Pro as it has better specs and runs smoother but if you don’t the PS4 Slim is a good option with the $50 dollar gift card being a bonus. While also on the PS4, the PS VR on Amazon will be $299 instead of the normal $399 so if you are into VR or are interested in it than this would be an offer not to turn down.

Now to the last console which is the Xbox One and there is a good choice for the One. If you go to Wal-Mart you can get a Xbox One S 500 GB that brings Halo 1 – 5 while also getting a copy of Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and another game of your choice for only $249. You could also go to GameStop and just get the Xbox One S 500 GB for just $189 if you just want the console only. I would recommend going with the Wal-Mart deal as you can get the Xbox’s mascot games, the newest Battlefront game and get one of the newest releases like Call of Duty: WWII (read our review here) or Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Now that we have the consoles out of the way it’s time to look at games that are worth picking up. First off Xbox Live and PSN will be offering discounts for recent games like Destiny 2 for $38.99, Assassin’s Creed Origins for $41.99, COD: WWII Deluxe Edition for $89.99, Destiny 2 – Game + Expansion Pass Bundle for $67.49, FIFA 18 for $39.99. Now while both have some of the same discounts there are some titles that are different.

Xbox Live is offering some older release games for cheap like Dishonored 2 for $20 (Check out our review here) and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for $15. Xbox will also offer Rocket League for $10, Battlefield 1 Revolution for $30, GTAV for $30, Gears of War for $19.99, Prey for $20, Overwatch for $30, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition for $20, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard for $30, Tekken 7 for $35.99, and Gears of War 4 and Halo 5: Guardians Bundle for $35. Now if you go to Amazon you can get a physical copy of games like Far Cry 4 for $18.95, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition for $39, Dead Rising for $13, Friday The 13th: The Game for $37 (check out our review) and Mafia 3 for $15 at Amazon or GameStop.

PSN will also be offering some of the same games but some are different prices than Xbox Live while also offering discount on games that Xbox is not. First off PSN will be offering Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for $41.99, Overwatch for only $29.99, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 for $29.99, WWE 2K18 for $35.99, South Park: The Fractured But Whole for $41.99. There is also Madden 18 for $29.99 and Project CARS 2 for $41.99. If head to Amazon for some PS4 games you can get Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age for $35, Mafia 3 for $15, and Steep for $19.93.

Nintendo will only have a few discount on games and it will be spread out a little more. Fire Emblem Warriors for the 3DS will be only $35 dollars on Amazon. Wal-Mart will have  The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorer’s Edition for only $49 (check out our review). Toys-R-Us will have the 1-2-Switch for only $20 dollars. Best Buy will have for $20 dollars the following games: The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, Disgaea 5: Complete Edition, and Puyo Puyo Tetris while having Super Bomberman R for $25.

Now to wrap this all up is some games that were big hits in 2017. If you go to Gamestop will be offering Injustice 2 for only $14 dollars. (Check out our review) For only $25 dollars GameStop will also be offering The Evil Within, Wolfestein 2 and Shadow of War. Finally GameStop will have for only $27 dollars Destiny 2, NBA 2K18, Madden 18 and FIFA 18. Hits like Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 will also be $30 dollars at GameStop.
