Quentin Tarantino’s Manson Movie to Debut on 50th Anniversary of Manson Murders

Tarantino announced that his next movie will be about the infamous Manson Family murders and fans went crazy. Tarantino is known for his brutal adaptations on the big screen and will likely bring one intense movie. However, it was recently announced that this movie would not be released until the 50th anniversary of the murders. This puts the release date in 2019.

Tarantino has talked a small amount on his new project that is set in the 1960’s and assured fans that the movie is not solely focused on Charles Manson. Instead, the movie will be more focused on the year 1969 as a whole.

Sony acquired his film once the relationship between Tarantino and disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein was ruptured amongst the multiple allegations being placed on him. Sony stated the movie will be released on August 9, 2019, 50 years exactly after the murder of actress Sharon Tate. Manson recently died on November 19, 2017.

This is the 9th film in Tarantino’s supposed 10 film run. Fans are excited to see how he will portray the insane cult following that Manson built. What are your thoughts on Tarantino’s next film? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies.
