A Current ‘Arrowverse’ Star Will Replace FIRESTORM On ‘LEGENDS OF TOMORROW’

As of these last few weeks, both Jax and Professor Stein, who collectively make up the superhero Firestorm, are no longer aboard the Waverider. This has weakened the team’s strength due to the fact that Firestorm has been the reason multiple nuclear bombs have not detonated and laid waste to cities all over the world.

However, the team will not be a man down for much longer.

Speaking with Comicbook.com, Marc Guggenheim, the executive producer of the entire Arrowverse, it was revealed that a previously established character will be joining the team to help fill out the ranks of the team.

“We do have a plan for how to replace Firestorm on the bridge, and it’s a really cool one. It’s one we’re really excited about.” Guggenheim said, “There’s really like two empty chairs on the Waverider. So we do have a game plan. We’ve always had a game plan. I just can’t talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news.”

Just who will be joining the team? Matt Ryan’s Constantine will already be appearing on the show following its mid-season return from winter hiatus in a multiple episode arc. Will he stick around following the arc and be able to prove to fans why his own standalone series on FOX should never have been cancelled? Kid Flash hasn’t been seen on ‘The Flash’ in a few weeks, could be joining the team? he already has a friendship with Nate Heywood following their team-ups in Central City during the Legends’ summer off. Hawkman and Hawkgirl were a part of the original incarnation of the team during the first season, could they be soaring back into the fold? Team Arrow seems to be in shambles currently, will one of them make the jump?

Either way, with the constant threat of Mallus, Damien Dahrk, and a bevy of Anachornisms taking place all over the timeline, the Legends will need all the help they can get.

Feel free to tweet us @superbromovies with who YOU think will be joining the team?
