FX’s ‘Atlanta’ Season Two Gets Premiere Date

FX has officially announced Atlanta’s season 2 premiere date. The premiere will be March 1st, 2018 at 10pm Est. Although, it technically isn’t season 2, it’s ‘Robbin’ Season‘.

Executive Producer/Writer Stephen Glover gave the explanation for the name:

“It’s not Season 2; it’s ‘Robbin’ Season’. ‘Robbin’ Season’ is the time before Christmas in Atlanta where there’s more criminal activity than normal because it’s about to be Christmas time, it’s the end of the year, there are a lot of people with gifts, there’s a lot of robberies going on because people have nice stuff at the time or trying to make money for Christmas or during that end of the year period, kind of like a vibe in Atlanta during that time.”

Although the show premieres on March 1st, but will take place during ‘Robbin’ Season‘. While the season has its title, the show will still follow Earn (Donald Glover) as he manages his cousin Alfred/Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Hill).

The show was delayed because of Donald Glover’s busy work schedule. He has been working on the Han Solo film, and his own Deadpool cartoon on FX. Fans have been anxiously awaiting news about ‘Robbin’ Season‘ and it has arrived.

Atlanta Robbin’ Season’ premiers March 1st, at 10 pm Est
