2017 will forever be remembered as the year a large group of brave men and women finally came forward and proclaim that Time’s Up for the sexual misconduct that has been taking place in Hollywood over the last several decades.
These allegations have come with some serious repercussions for those who have committed these heinous and unthinkable acts, such as Kevin Spacey being removed from his role in ‘All the Money in the World’ and the firing of Matt Lauer from The Today Show.
TJ Miller, who served as Deadpool’s trusty sidekick in the original 2016 film, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while in college. Miller has been adamant about the fact that he was innocent and his wife has stood by his side throughout it all.
During a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Lauren Shuler Donner, a longtime producer of X-Men films, was asked of the possibility of removing TJ Miller from his role in the upcoming Deadpool sequel.
“We’re in the final editing. I don’t think so,” Donner said.
Donner was very vocal about Brett Ratner, director of X-Men: The Last Stand, when allegations surfaced, so Donner is so stranger to condemning those who commit sexual crimes and severing ties with them.
What do you think? Do you think Miller should be removed from upcoming projects? Let us know @superbromovies.
