Thor’s Roommate Darryl Will Move In With THE GRANDMASTER In Upcoming MCU Short

With the exciting news of Thor: Ragnarok being released on blu ray in March comes along with a whole slew of fun extras. Last year, Chris Hemsworth starred in two viral MCU shorts that showed what Thor was up to during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Turns out, Thor decided to take a break from searching for the Infinity Stones and move in with an Australian slacker named Darryl.

Well, with Thor now taking his place as the rightful king of Asgard after a devastating battle with Hela and Surtur, Darryl is looking for a new roommate.

According to the official synopsis of the third MCU short starring Darryl, Jeff Goldblum’s The Grandmaster is the unlikely character to answer the call and help Darryl out with the rent. See below:

Exclusive Short/Team Darryl – Fresh off being unseated as the ruler of Sakaar, the Grandmaster makes his way to Earth to start a new life. It’s been over a year since Thor left Australia and Darryl has been struggling to pay his rent. Now Darryl needs a new roommate to help make the monthly payments. Unfortunately for Darryl, the Grandmaster was the only one who answered Darryl’s “Roommate Needed” ad and with no viable options, the Grandmaster moves in.

Jeff Goldblum arguably stole the show in Thor: Ragnarok and it looks like fans won’t have to wait too long to get another taste of the quirky Grandmaster as he will be the next Marvel character to join TEAM DARRYL. While Marvel Studios has hinted at the return the once-popular Marvel One-Shots, these MCU Shorts have been a hit among fans and have been a welcome humorous distraction to the destrution and heartache looming over the rest of the MCU fans.
