Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently still in theaters, but a first look at the steel book Blu-ray art has surfaced. The image comes from an advertisement that showed up on the Star Wars Movie Facebook page, which showed the products that retailers such as Best Buy and Target will be offering. The advertisement also offered some information regarding what additional content the release comes with.
Target appears to be offering Star Wars: The Last Jedi in a type of book-version, which includes some exclusive artwork, behind-the-scenes photos, and exclusive comments from the cast and crew (including Rian Johnson). Best Buy, on the other hand, is offering an exclusive steel book that features a 4K disc and some pretty cool cover art that resembles that of the promotional IMAX standee seen a while back. Both of these will come with over 2 hours of behind-the-scenes footage, something that has been heavily teased since the theatrical release of the film. Target’s offer is priced at $28, while Best Buy has their offering priced at $35.
A release date for the digital & Blu-ray/4K release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi has not been announced, but it is rumored to be released in the month of March. What are your thoughts on this?
