The year 2018 marks 10 years since Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’ was released in theaters. Theater chains such as Showcase Cinemas will rerelease the film onto its big screens on February 8th and 11th of this year.

It was in July of 2008 when the movies was first released with Christian Bale playing the caped crusader! Being one of his most notable roles, Bale said his time as Batman calls for a feeling of mixed emotions but he will forever be grateful for the opportunity Nolan provided him.

This film is a fan favorite of the trilogy created by Christopher Nolan and is held high by fans for Heath Ledger’s portrayal of The Joker. This year also makes the tenth anniversary of the great actor’s passing. Heath provided us with an unforgettable performance, it’s only right that we get to see his award winning Joker on the big screen again!

Will you be attending one of the screenings for ‘The Dark Knight’ upon its return in February? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies!
