New Leaked ‘SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY’ Set Photos May Spoil A Classic Location

With the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story drawing closer and closer it seems we are getting new information every day regarding the film. And today that information comes from a few set photos from filming that took place a few months ago. As we know the newest Star Wars spinoff will finally visit locations that fans have wanted to see on screen for a long time, and based on the new images we may have our first look at some of them.

The photos which were obtained by the fan site La Fosa Del Rancor show the set on Fuerteventura of the Canary Islands. The images seem to feature a beach setting with large pipes and machinery similar to the moisture vaporators on Tatooine.

The images are described as thus by the site,

“Pipes, installations and some type of abandoned machinery together with the well-known humidity evaporators. It is still unknown the planet where these scenes will develop but many rumors suggest that it may be Corellia, the home planet of Han Solo, or the mines of Kessel (which we saw in the first season of Star Wars Rebels) and whose circuit It was made by the Millennium Falcon in less than 12 paraseconds (a time that we will probably see in the film as well).”

As of now, we are unsure of all locations that will be visited in the film but we can be fairly certain we will see the movie go to Corellia, Han Solo’s home planet, and Kessel. So based on this the images shown below may be our first look at one of these planets. Kessel has previously been visited on Star Wars Rebels and had a different appearance but the images could be made to fit that in post-production.

So based on these images we may now have our first look at a classic Star Wars location. Fans have long wanted to see where Han Solo came from and see the Kessel run for themselves and now this may be our first hint at what those locations may look like.
