Sony has just announced that they have moved their untitled Men In Black spinoff from its original May 17th, 2019 to June 14th, 2019. This move takes it off the date currently held by John Wick: Chapter Three and moves it to the date held by Warner Bros. Shaft.

The untitled Men In Black spinoff was fast-tracked by Columbia earlier this year. The script has been written by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum from Iron Man and is being produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald and will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg. All parties were involved in the original Men In Black from 1997 which starred Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.

Such a date change is not odd this far our from release as it is still nearly a year away. The franchise has been a box office hit spanning two sequels to the original film and now this spinoff feature. So while we don’t know much about the film just yet we can hope to hear new information soon.
