DC’s Upcoming Film Slate Potentially Revealed

Over the past couple years, there have been several reports of upcoming DC films without there ever being an official announcement from Warner Brothers. There are apparently three Harley Quinn movies in development along with the sequel to Suicide Squad and a Deadshot solo movie. With all these movies reportedly in development, it has become confusing what their actual slate is. Unlike Marvel, they haven’t had an official presentation for their upcoming movies.

According to Revenge Of The Fans, these are all the films that have been reported on to be in development:

  • Aquaman
  • Shazam!
  • Suicide Squad 2
  • The Batman
  • Justice League Dark
  • Batgirl
  • Green Lantern Corps
  • Flashpoint
  • Wonder Woman 2
  • Man of Steel 2
  • Nightwing
  • Lobo
  • Cyborg
  • Deadshot
  • Deathstroke
  • Black Adam
  • Booster Gold
  • Untitled Todd Philips Joker Movie
  • Untitled Joker/Harley Quinn Movie
  • Gotham City Sirens
  • Birds of Prey

Most of those movies have not been officially announced by Warner Brothers, so it’s hard to tell which are legitimate. But things are going to become much more clear for DC.

DC will soon be coming out with a news show where all the official announcements will be made. ROTF reports,

“There is a DC news show coming. Similar to DC All Access, but daily and exclusive stuff. Major news will be released through this portal.”

It appears in the wake of DC Films’ new presidency, fans will have a much better idea of what films are being made

ROTF also reports that these are the actual films in development at DC.

  • Aquaman
  • Shazam!
  • Wonder Woman 2
  • Suicide Squad 2
  • Flashpoint
  • The Batman

The highly anticipated Man of Steel sequel and Nightwing movie are also reportedly very close to getting green lit.

The other films on that first list may still get made, but as of now, most are still in early stages. Hopefully DC officially announces this soon.
