RUMOR: ‘LEGO INCREDIBLES’ Game Coming Soon

Lego is known mostly for their toys based on building, but lately, they have been making some amazing video games as well. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, and Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens are some of the latest entries to expand their video game repertoire, but now rumors appoint to the company trying out a new brand for their games, the giantly popular Pixar brand.

A new rumor has surfaced revealing that the next game in the Lego lineup may be based on The Incredibles. There’s a title floating around as well, this being LEGO Incredibles 2. The game is said to be a tie-in to the upcoming sequel to the 2004 Pixar superhero family hit film. These are the only things rumored right now as details regarding the project are scarce.

This would be the first time a LEGO video game uses a Pixar property, a prospect that sounds amazing on paper, but not the first time the heroic family gets the video game treatment. The rumor also makes sense primordially because of two things. The first one being that in August of 2017, a LEGO line of Incredibles 2 toys was announced, meaning that LEGO has the ability to make a game if they so choose to. The second one is the timing of the game, as LEGO likes to release games just around when the hype for the film property they’re making a game of is at the top level. Some examples include Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Lego Jurassic World, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, which released around the time Thor: Ragnarok came out.
