Xbox Game Pass Will Now Include New Exclusive Games On Launch Day

Big news for Xbox gamers that own Game Pass or gamers thinking of getting it. Starting today any exclusive Xbox title will be added to Game Pass the same day the game releases. The news was announced by Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer.

With this move upcoming games like Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2 will launch not only at retailers and Xbox Marketplace but will be available on Game Pass the same day. Phil Spencer also noted that future unannounced Microsoft Games and the next iterations of games like Halo, Gears of Wars, and Forza will also be following the same concept.

In the same announcement, Spencer announced that Game Pass will be getting a retail 6-month card that will be sold in GameStop. The card will be worth 59.99 and will drop March 20th, 2018 the same day as Sea of Thieves. Game Pass was released back in 2017 and seems to be a big hit for Xbox.
