PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Reaches 4 Million Players On Xbox, Will Giveaway Free Rewards To All Owners

After only being out for just over a month, the Xbox Preview Program version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has reached 4 million players. Along with the offical announcement, Microsoft unveiled plans to reward the community as part of the celebration. Any player who logged in before January 31st and created a character will receive 30,000 Battle Points to spend on cosmetics such as player facial appearance or loot crates for clothes.

The game has been an important release for Microsoft. They are often criticized for lack of exclusives, but the best-selling PC game being exclusive for the forseeable future is a good catch. This promotion is keen to target those that have not purchased the game. Gamers will have a week to buy it on their own or have friends gift them the game to receive the free Battle Points.
