One of the most well-known villains in the Batman rogue gallery is making his way to back to FOX’s highly successful Bruce Wayne prequel-series.
As first reported by TVLine, David W. Thompson (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Boardwalk Empire) has been chosen to reprise the role of Jonathan Crane AKA Scarecrow, previously played by Charlie Tahan (below).
Scarecrow was previously seen in the season 4 premiere of Gotham but looks to cause all sorts of trouble for Jim Gordon and company in upcoming episodes.
This is not the first time the show has recast one of the most famous Batman characters since the role of Poison Ivy was recently recast as Gotham looks to expand her role in the future.
Gotham will resume Season 4 on Thursday March 1 at 8/7c on FOX.
