With Call of Duty seemingly gaining traction again from 2017’s Call of Duty: World War II we might be getting another installment of one of their popular collections. Insider Marcus Sellars is reporting that the next COD game which will release this year will be Black Ops 4. He is also reporting that the game will also be released on the Nintendo Switch making it the first COD game on a Nintendo console in years.
As tweeted by Sellars, the Switch version will be a port by a company that already is familiar with COD games. This version will also support DLC, motion controls, and HD Rumble.
The last installment of Black Ops was Black Ops 3 which was set in the future and had the players with exo suits. It looks like the next installment will go back to modern day and be a more grounded series after COD: WWII seems to bring life back to the franchise by returning to a grounded approach.
