Michael Fassbender to Star in Feature Length Sequel to ‘KUNG FURY’

It has just been announced that Michael Fassbender will star in and produce a sequel to Kung Fury. The original short film from 2015, also called Kung Fury, will again be directed by David Sanberg. Sandberg will also star in and produce the film alongside the two time Oscar nominee.

A familiar face in the short film, David Hasselhoff, will also co-star in the movie as well. The movie broke records all around when it first launched. After being chosen for the Cannes Directors Fortnight, the movie began gaining more and more views and has garnered over 40 million as of now.

The movie will be produced under the KatzSmith Production banner, which just gathered a huge success from working on last year’s IT. BLOOM will handle the movie in an international sense and premier it at the Berlin Film Festival. Production for the film begins this summer!

As odd of a project this is, seeing Fassbender and Hasselhoff together on screen should be quite hilarious. Have you seen the original Kung Fury? If not, check out the link below and watch the movie (don’t worry, it was released on Youtube for the public to enjoy!) It’s never too late to check it out! Go give it a watch and let us know what you think over at SuperBroMovies!
