Today a previously unreleased piece of storyboard from Justice League has been revealed by Screen Rant. The scene appears to depict a deleted Darkseid scene from what would have been Zack Snyder’s cut of the film. While the scene doesn’t reveal how this would have played into the film it does give us an idea of what could have been had Zack Snyder completed the film.
The storyboard has been confirmed to come from Snyder’s cut and features Darkseid and the same hellish landscape from the Knightmare scene of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This would have been our first look at the DCU’s Darkseid and looks to have featured a destroyed Hall of Justice.
Given that Snyder is known for storyboarding scenes he wishes to shoot himself and reports his cut was farther along than previously thought, there could be a version of this scene that was filmed. However, it would obviously require extensive CGI work. But it begs the question of what could have been if there was a Snyder cut of Justice League.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
