With the upcoming release of Avengers: Infinity War, anticipation from casual moviegoers and longtime Marvel fans has been quite high. The recent Super Bowl trailer, in particular, revealed more interactions between the main characters, including an action setpiece with Iron Man and Doctor Strange. It turns out that Marvel Studios will air a special look at the film during the premiere of the Disney Channel original movie Zombies, which is scheduled to air on Friday, February 16th at 8/7c.
Zombies is a supernatural horror musical in which the setting is a school in which humans and zombies co-exist. The plot revolves around a cheerleader and a zombie football player striking a friendship and doing what they can to bring the school community together. Based on the film’s premise, one can expect metaphors for discrimination to show up throughout.
It is not confirmed when this special will air during Zombies’ timeslot. Therefore, there is some chance it will be available mid-film during a commercial break. This means those who are only interested in watching the special will have to wait until Marvel Studios releases it online. However, it is just as probable that the special will air either before or after the film, which would be beneficial for that audience.
