In a few months we are due to see the Guardians of the Galaxy finally join up with the Avengers in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Avengers: Infinity War. But once the Guardians are done on their earthly endeavors they will be back to cruising through space doing a little bit of good and a little bit of bad. Well it is now been reported that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be filming in Atlanta.

It is being reported by That Hashtag Show that in preparation for the film the film’s crew is already well at work preparing Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia for principal photography. The film s not scheduled to begin filming till early 2019 but Marvel is well-known for beginning pre-production well in advance of principal photography.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise as many of Marvel Studios films have been filmed in Fayette County, with a majority of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 having been filmed in Pinewood Atlanta. In fact many of the set photos released online are taken at the studio. However, we should note that we may have a hard time getting new set photos from the film as it is set to be shot primarily on sets.

As of now Marvel has not made an official confirmation for this report but you can be sure as new information is made available we will be here to let you know.
