IRIS WEST Suits Up As A Superhero On ‘THE FLASH’

It was bound to happen eventually right? After ‘Arrow’s’ Felicity got her own super-suit during a crossover with ‘Legend of Tomorrow,’ Cisco turned into Vibe, and Caitlin’s Hulk-esque powers as Killer Frost (don’t make her angry) it was only a matter of time before Barry Allen’s love-interest and Central City’s resident Femme Fatale got in on the action.

In the first official shot of what has been previously seen in set photos, Candice Patton’s Iris West has been given a nifty purple and white costume in March 13th’s new episode. See below:

In the episode, appropriately titled “Run, Iris, Run,” Team Flash has a run-in Matthew AKA Melting Pot (played by The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift‘s Leonardo Nam) who has the ability to swap people’s DNA. This results in the transference of Barry’s super speed to Iris.

What do you think? Will Iris make a good Speedster? Can she live up to the legacy left by her brother and her husband? Will Barry make a good team leader whil ehis wife is out kicking butt? Find out soon when Iris and her new snazzy suit debuts on ‘The Flash.’

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.

Team Flash confronts a new bus meta, Matthew AKA Melting Pot (guest star Leonardo Nam), with the ability to swap people’s DNA. During a battle with Team Flash, Harold transfers Barry’s (Grant Gustin) super speed to Iris (Candice Patton). Now, with a new threat unleashed on Central City, Barry must act as the team leader while Iris takes on the mantle of superhero speedster in order to defeat their new foe.
