With Sony already in talks to get F. Gary Gray (Fate of the Furious) to direct its Men In Black spinoff, the studio might be looking to also add the God of Thunder. Chris Hemsworth is in talks to join the spinoff which will take place in the same universe as the original Men In Black trilogy but will focus on new characters.
The movie will apparently have three main characters, a white man, a black woman, and an older man. The movie will take place in London which allows it to be in the same universe but a separate story from the first three Men In Black films. The original Men In Black focused on Agents J and Agent K, played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, and was set in New York City.
The spinoff at the moment has a June 14th, 2019 release but has no actors officially signed on yet. The movie does have Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway who have written the script. Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald will produce the film and Steven Spielberg will be executive producing.
