Frank Castle will return to Netflix, and this time with 3 new cast members. Upon the return of the show, the following actors will have a role in the series:

John Stewart will play the role of John Pilgrim. His character is described as having a cool exterior but a ruthless interior. He had left the life of crime and violence behind, but after getting involved with Frank Castle, he will soon be drawn back into the life of crime.

Floriana Lima will play the the role of Krista Dumont. Her character is a smart, compassionate psychiatrist for veterans in the military. This sounds like she could have some involvement in Frank Castle’s life.

Giorgia Whigham has been cast Amy Bendix, who’s been pinned as a “street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.”

Jeph Loeb, the executive producer and head of Marvel Television, spoke on the casting of the three actors and said the following:

Josh, Floriana and Giorgia are all remarkable talents and we can’t wait for the audience to see what we have in store for them in the second season of Marvel’s The Punisher,

Adding to that statement was Steve Lightfoot, the showrunner and Executive Producer of the show. He stated:

We are incredibly excited to have Josh, Floriana and Giorgia joining the cast of Marvel’s The Punisher and seeing them bring their talents to the next chapter in the Frank Castle story,

Seeing that the heads of the show are excited for the new cast, we can expect a pretty stellar season 2. John Bernthal puts a lot of effort into this role and boy does it show. The new cast will be starring alongside the Punisher himself, John Bernthal, and series villain Ben Barnes. Also returning to the show is Amber Revah and Jason R. Moore.

To hold you off until season 2, the 13 seasons of season 1 are now streaming on Netflix. There has been no news on a release date for the second season, but be sure to stay tuned to SuperBroMovies for any future news!
