John Francis Daley, one of the co-directors of Game Night, officially announced via Twitter that he and Jonathan Goldstein will be taking over the director’s helm on one of Warner Bros.’ DC properties, Flashpoint.
This will be Daley and Goldstein’s third time working together in the director’s chair as they just recently worked on Game Night, which is now in theaters and Vacation, which came out back in 2015. Daley and Goldstein were also writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming, so Flashpoint will not be their first stint working in the superhero cinematic universe. Hopefully, they can use their experience working on a Marvel movie and translate the success to Flashpoint.
Flashpoint will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. Gal Gadot is said to also be joining the film as Wonder Woman (not official yet). Now that Flashpoint has directors, fingers crossed that the production will slowly pick up and don’t run into any more delays. No theatrical release has been announced yet.
