After last month of reporting that this year’s Call of Duty, Treyarch has confirmed this year COD will be Black Ops 4. Treyarch announced the game today with also announcing the game will be coming on this year on October 12th. At the same time, they also said that we will get a community reveal on May 17.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be releasing on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. This now officially debunks previous rumors of the game also launching on the Nintendo Switch. This will mark the first time the series releases a game in October as November has always been COD’s month. Recent rumors also suggested the game will take place in the near future but no official announcement has been made at the time.
The last installment which was Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was released back in 2015. The Black ops series has been constantly appreciated by fans with Black Ops 2 was one of the most requested Xbox backward compatible game before it happened. We will have to wait until the community reveal event to get more information.
