RUMOR: ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Sequel To Feature Spider-Woman As The Femme Fatale

With Spider-Man: Homecoming’s sequel set to start filming later this year we might be seeing another web-slinger in the movie. Early in the year, it was reported that the movie was looking to cast a ‘femme fatale’ role in the movie. Now thanks to ThatHashTagShow it looks like we will probably see Jessica Drew in the movie.

According to their source, the movie is looking to cast someone described as a bond type girl international spy. With this information, Jessica Drew is most likely the character they are trying to cast for. Jessica Drew has been rumored for a while in both Sony’s All-Female Sony Marvel Movie or a Marvel Studios Secret Invasion Movie.

In the comics, Jessica Drew goes by the name Spider-Woman. She was an agent of Hydra before than becoming an agent of SHIELD and Avenger. TheHashTagShow also reported that if it is Jessica Drew that the movie will also cast two more agents to help her with both a male and female agent. As of right now, no official news has come out of Marvel or Sony but we probably won’t hear anything till they start filming.
