After Thor: Ragnarok, we got to see a very humorous side of the God of Thunder. Maybe because the man behind the camera was none other than the hilarious Taika Waititi. Hopefully you didn’t fall in love with this Thor because come Avengers: Infinity War, that Thor is gone.

Hemsworth wanted a new Thor to appear in Infinity War. He went to talk to the Russo’s about his character and how he envisioned him. Chris Hemsworth told them:

I was like, ‘Look, don’t write me the old Thor. We’ve got a new Thor now.’ And they said, ‘Well, so do we’ … This is a whole different thing

With the scale and the intensity of Avengers: Infinity War, it would be odd to keep the same Thor. He looks grimy, and changed, which is exactly what they seem to be attempting.

The Russo’s haven’t let us down before and it doesn’t seem like they will this time around. They’re really changing the game up and even got permission to kill of anyone they want. So who will it be? That’s the real question! How excited are you to see this new take on Thor in Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know over at SuperBroMovies! – JB Baker

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
