New ‘JUSTICE LEAGUE’ Concept Art Gives Us The Best Look At Green Lantern/Yala Gur

Although Justice League did not feature any Green Lanterns on the team it did, however, tease their presence in the DCU. A short clip from the History Lesson in the film gave us a glimpse of Green Lantern’s might with Yala Gur. It wasn’t a very clear look at the character though, but now we have a much better sense of the design for the CG character with some new concept art.

Thanks to a post on Reddit, we now have a much better look at Yala Gur. The concept art has him in a slightly different outfit than we see him have on in Justice League. The essence of a “classic” look is still there, and there’s that hovering symbol over the chest.

Check it out below!

Although the suit itself seems very old-fashioned, I’m going to assume the Green Lantern ring and symbol over the chest will be something seen in Green Lantern Corps. We’re quite a ways from the film actually happening so in the meanwhile this should wet some people’s appetites.

Justice League is currently available on Digital HD and on Blu-ray/4k.

Justice League – Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
