We are just a little over a month away from the release of Avengers: Infinity War. As that April 27th date inches closer, the marketing for Marvel’s next blockbuster will begin to ramp up, which will include the infamous TV spots. Those short 15-30 second ads have become a staple of film marketing but have also caused some problems in the spoiler department. They’re synonymous with giving away small details that may have been better left to see for the first time on the big screen and Avengers: Infinity War will be no exception to that.
Marvel released two brand new TV spots that have a lot to offer when it comes to new footage. The most important of which is a scene in which Tony Stark officially makes Spider-Man a member of the Avengers. In a quick interaction, Stark motions like he is knighting Peter and says “Alright kid, you’re an Avenger”.
A majority of the plot of Spider-Man: Homecoming revolved around Peter attempting to impress Tony so that he would make him an official Avenger. At the end of the film, Peter rejected Tony’s offer to join the team but with Thanos coming it’s all on hands on deck.
