Pedro Pascal to Play Key Role in ‘WONDER WOMAN’ Sequel

This summer marks the one year anniversary of what has been DC’s most successful comic book adaptation. Every since the release of Wonder Woman, people have been anxiously awaiting for more and more news regarding the sequel. Well, now they can jump out of their seats.

Patty Jenkins, who is returning to helm the sequel, is now bringing on the Narcos star to play a key role in her movie. This has been announced after Jenkins also revealed that Kristen Wiig will be playing the villainous role of Cheetah in the sequel. This will be the second time Pascal and Jenkins have joined forces, the first being their time working together on Exposed.

As for who he’s playing, that is still a secret but we can expect more news as time goes on. Pascal has slowly grown larger and larger in the industry, with his climb beginning during his time on HBO’s Game of Thrones and then Narcos. Since then, he’s been in multiple blockbusters such as Kingsmen: The Golden Circle. It was also announced that he would be starring in role juxtaposing Denzel Washington in The Equalizer sequel coming out this summer.

Pascal has proven endlessly that he has the chops to play an action star, and his humor only benefits that. I’m excited to see what he can bring to the world of comic book movies, especially a project like the Wonder Woman sequel. Be sure to stay tuned for any other news regarding Pascal’s character!
