New ‘INFINITY WAR’ Stills Give an HD Look at the Sanctum Sanctorum and the Guardians of the Galaxy

Total Film just released some HD stills from Avengers: Infinity War showing the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Sanctum Sanctorum.

The stills are shown below:

The first photo features Wong, Doctor Strange, Bruce Banner, and Tony Stark, standing in the Sanctum Sanctorum, Doctor Strange’s hideout and home. The steps behind them are destroyed, likely due to the Hulk falling through the ceiling and into the steps. The shot of Bruce Banner looking dazed in rubble from the trailer matches those steps. They’ve likely just become aware of the donut-shaped alien object floating in the Manhattan sky, which Spider-Man is shown climbing in the trailer.

The second photo features Star-Lord, Rocket Racoon, Mantis, Gamora, Groot, and Drax the Destroyer, who make up the Guardians of the Galaxy facing Thor. They seem surprised by Thor’s presence and ready to fight him, meaning it is likely their first encounter with him. This is very likely to be the scene from the trailer when Thor asks, “Who are you guys?”

These scenes likely take place towards the beginning of the film, as the Avengers and Guardians begin to assemble and prepare for war.

The upcoming issue of Total Film, releasing April 6th, will feature more information about Avengers: Infinity War, including interviews and behind-the-scenes information.
