Deadpool 2 will see the mature corner of the X-Men Universe blow open with new faces when it arrives next month in theaters. Several new heroes will make the lineup of a potential X-Force team. The most recent trailer of the movie shows Cable in what appears to be an antagonistic role. Is there a true villain we haven’t seen? Actor Jack Kesy was cast in a minor villain role as Black Tom Cassidy last year.

Cassidy is primarily known as a villain of Deadpool and Banshee (they’re cousins). He can generate energy blasts as long as he has a wooden or plant-based medium to channel his powers through. The initial casting report had him as the “major villain” of the film. But today, Tracking Board’s Jeff Snieider revealed that he had “heard he got cut from the movie. […] I don’t know if we’re gonna be seeing Jack Kesy in Deadpool 2. We’ll see.” With reports such as this and those pointing to last minute reshoots, are you worried for the hotly anticipated sequel?
