GAME OF THRONES Shoots Record Breaking Scene

Game of Thrones has taken the place as many people’s favorite show. The enormous scale and large cast provides endless entertainment for those who watch. It should come as no surprise that such a show would take a little bit longer when it comes to many of their shots. Many were disappointed when news broke that the show would not premier again on their screens until 2019.

Now as bad as that seems, after hearing the following, it makes perfect sense. Game of Thrones recently just finished a 55 day shoot. What’s the catch you may ask? This shoot was all for one scene. Game of Thrones has some of the best action sequences in all of television so the fact that a 55 day shot was required for a single battle scene shows that we’re in for a real treat.

This was revealed in a recently deleted Instagram post by someone on production who was celebrating a wrap on the massive scene that spanned over multiple locations. The always impressive team working on the show seemed to be very proud of what they’ve accomplished. In the post they say it’s something unlike anything they’ve done before. This builds up the anticipation tremendously. Now all we can do is wait and see! Check out the post below!
