We are a less than a week away from the release of Marvel Studios biggest project yet, Avengers: Infinity War. And yet we know very little about what is in store for the films heroes, in fact neither do they. It has been restated by many of the film’s stars that they don’t know what happens in the film as they were not allowed to read the full script. Some time ago Benedict Cumberbatch stated he was perhaps the only one to read it, or so we thought.

It has now been revealed by director Joe Russo that Benedict Cumberbatch only thinks he read the full script. During a recent interview with the director, he began to cast doubt on Cumberbatch having read the full script. Russo stated,

“He thinks he read the entire script….We wrote fake scenes, fake drafts of the script and delivered them to the actors….”

This does go along with the recent claims that many of the actors were given fake scripts to avoid potential spoilers getting out. Which was further backed up by producer Trinh Tran who also mentioned many fake scripts were handed out,

“Different versions so people didn’t know what version they were reading,”

So it would seem we are now back to square one as no one fully knows what is going to happen in this movie. Given that not even the film’s stars know what is fully in store for their characters it seems we will have quite the adventure on our hands. Luckily we don’t have long to wait for us to find out.
