Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Confirms ETERNALS Movie Is In Development

With Marvel Studios introducing more characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is now confirmed that there will be a movie based on the Eternals comic book series. Although Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic revealed this news recently, this is the first time that someone at Marvel confirmed it. During the press tour for Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed some of the plans for the MCU’s future following Phase Three, which included the development of the Eternals movie.

In an interview with The Wrap, Feige states that Eternals, a series about a race of human beings created by the Celestials, is one of several Marvel properties under consideration for the future of the MCU. In addition to planning an Eternals movie, Feige is currently working on projects like Captain Marvel and the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. The full quote can be seen below:

Eternals is one of many many many things that we are actively beginning to have creative discussions about to see if we believe in them enough to put them on a slate.”

At this stage, little is known about the Eternals movie, as no cast and crew have been attached to it. For the time being, fans of this comic book series can now anticipate these characters to show up in future MCU outings.
