‘JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3’ Promo Poster And Synopsis Revealed

After his sequel broke expectations set by the first, fans have been clamoring for more John Wick and can’t wait to see Keanu Reeves back in action. Chapter 3 is set to release next summer, and we have just gotten the first promo poster and synopsis thanks to Cinemacon.

During their panel, Lionsgate showcased their upcoming lineup as well as revealing some new information on John Wick: Chapter 3. First came the teaser poster for the film:

It obviously doesn’t reveal anything new, but the promotional synopsis does give us some details on the plot.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

This pretty much summarizes the last part of John Wick: Chapter 2, but it does tell us that John will be in New York City for the most part as he uses whatever means necessary to stay alive.
