While the newest installment of the ever expanding Star Wars universe still hasn’t hit theaters yet, there are some hints of sequels to possibly come.
In a recent interview with Fandango, Solo director Ron Howard hinted at possible sequels to come in the future:
I think these are exactly what they’re meant to be, or what they’re designed to be. They’re single movies exploring the galaxy; but of course, as a company, I think they’re going to be very interested to see how people respond to it and take it from there. This whole thing is kind of a cool, ambitious exploration of what the galaxy and the Star Wars sensibility can continue to mean to fans.
While it seems as if the fanbase will be the deciding factor of what is to come surrounding the future Solo, Howard seems to feel quite confident about seeing future installments surrounding his iteration of the iconic character.
